Chalet Le Moulin is perched on a mountain high up above the valley.
Surrounded by natural forest, little meadows, we don't have neighbors except maybe the occasional hiker.
On a warm day in the summer you might hear distant cowbells or see squirrels hopping amongst the branches.
You can have a packed day of activities and then retreat back to curl up on the sofa, with a log fire and a glass of wine.
Ever wondered what a read solid log chalet feels like?
Dancing in the happy valley
Samoens is the largest village in our narrow Alpine valley.

We like cooking rustic style. Whether outdoors in the Pizza Oven, grilling on the terrace BBQ, or indoors cooking on the Norvega wood fired stove (from Norway off course!)
Our kitchen is crammed with the usual stuff for making hearty family meals to fairy cakes but we also have the Alpine favourites of Raclette maker and Fondue Pot, Pancake/Waffle maker and at least four ways of making coffee.
We stock plenty of herbs & spices, some oils and vinegars too.
Explore your inner chef.
